How You Can Help !

At Stevie’s Walk, our focus is on supporting young people aged 12 to 25 through early intervention, prevention, education, and community support. We believe one of the most powerful ways to create lasting change is to reach young people early — providing connection, guidance, and support before life’s challenges become overwhelming.

But meaningful impact extends beyond the individual. That’s why Stevie’s Walk takes a broader “circle of influence” approach, supporting initiatives that not only help young people directly, but also strengthen the people, environments, and community systems that shape their everyday lives.

At the heart of our work is creating opportunities for connection, awareness, and support within the community. This may include school and sporting club mental health programs, educational talks, wellbeing initiatives, improved access to support services, peer connection opportunities, and community-based programs that foster belonging and encourage open conversations.

We are committed to helping break down stigma surrounding mental health and suicide, while promoting understanding, resilience, and the importance of seeking support early.

Surrounding this is the first circle of influence — the people who play an important role in a young person’s everyday life. Parents, caregivers, teachers, coaches, community leaders, and employers can all have a significant impact on a young person’s wellbeing, sense of connection, and willingness to seek support.

Through initiatives such as parent education programs, mental health awareness training, youth-focused workplace support, and community education initiatives, Stevie’s Walk aims to equip these key support networks with the knowledge, confidence, and understanding needed to recognise challenges early, encourage open conversations, and provide meaningful support when it matters most.

Beyond individuals, Stevie’s Walk also invests in the broader environments where young people live, learn, work, and connect. We recognise that schools, workplaces, sporting clubs, and community networks all play an important role in shaping mental wellbeing and creating a sense of belonging.

Through community partnerships and targeted initiatives, we support programs that improve access to support, encourage open conversations, and strengthen mental wellbeing across schools, workplaces, sporting clubs, and the wider community.

We also understand that certain stages of life can bring increased vulnerability and uncertainty. As part of our commitment to early intervention, Stevie’s Walk supports young people aged 12 to 25 through important life transitions — particularly the shift from education into employment and adulthood. This may include initiatives focused on early career mental health, resilience, social connection, navigating change, and reducing isolation.

Every contribution helps fund initiatives that provide education, connection, and early support for young people and the communities around them.

We are especially committed to supporting initiatives that reach vulnerable, at-risk, or underserved young people, helping ensure support, education, and connection are accessible to those who may need it most.

Together, we can help build stronger communities where young people feel connected, supported, and hopeful about the future.

Every positive change begins with a community that cares.
